Poco has launched the F6 series of smartphones in the global market. This series includes Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. However, it is mentioned that the Indian market will only get the standard model. Poco F6 and F6 Pro are rebranded variants of Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70 Pro available in China. Moreover, Poco phones are said to be rebadged versions of Redmi devices.
Poco F6 Series Specifications and Features
The Poco F6 and F6 Pro have a 6.67-inch OLED display with integrated fingerprint scanner and 120Hz refresh rate. The Poco F6 has a 1.5K resolution and 2,400 nits peak brightness, while the F6 Pro has a 2K resolution with 4,000 nits peak brightness.
Similarly, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus while both the phones have a flat frame. Also, the standard model has two protruding camera rings. The Pro model is said to have the imported island design.
The Poco F6 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 OIS-capable main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Similarly, the K70 Pro features triple rear cameras comprising a 50MP OIS main lens, a 2MP macro unit and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Apart from this, the standard and pro models also have 20 MP and 16 MP selfie snappers.
Both the phones come with AI features like object eraser.
The Poco F6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor. The F6 Pro is said to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Poco F6 has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the Pro model has 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage (storage).
It is also said that there is a heat dissipation system on board. The Poco F6 Duo is said to have a 5,000 mAh battery unit. The standard variant and the Pro model will support 90W and 120W charging respectively. In terms of software, the Poco F6 series will ship with Android 14 based on HyperOS.
For global markets, the Poco F6 line has been priced at USD 379 and USD 429 respectively. The 12GB plus 256GB and 12GB plus 512GB variants of the F6 Pro are priced at USD 499 and USD 549 respectively. For the highest 16GB plus 1TB option, a price tag of US$629 has been fixed, GizmoChina noted.
